Site down for a couple of days

Just to let everyone know that the site will be down for a day or two this friday the 12th.

Doing some work on the server, hopefully it wont take long and you shouldnt notice any down time but just in case things go to hades in a handbasket, it may be down a day.

news SOG closes doors

Society of Gamers has closed its doors and the server taken offline today.  This effects Valhyre in two ways.  Not only has a very good news site and a fun community been been killed but the IRC server Valhyre was using is no longer available to us. 

IRC will be unavailable until a new server is located.  Which should be a couple of days.

A few changes for the private messages part of the website have been applied.
The new system is much more comfortable and easier to use but not compatible with the old version.

IRC channel has moved

Just a quick note.  the irc chat channel has moved to the Society of gamers network.  You can use your chat client to connect to irc.societyofgamers.com:6667  and join #valhyre.  The Chat Applet found on the community site will automaticly take you to the chat.
